We are very proud, and often humbled by the wonderful comments we receive each day and it is our personal aim to maintain a high standard throughout the hotel for your comfort and pleasure.

Well 2009 was a difficult one. Jen's recovery from Breast Cancer being the biggest challenge. We did our best to maintain standards and had an even better result of our inspection by the AA. Unfortunately we had a few problem guests who took exception to us trying to maintain some degree of family life by having a check in time of 2:30pm and closing the bar at 11pm. Oh and then there was the guest who did not seem to understand that double rooms are for 2 people! They then spread lies obout us on the internet and escalated this when we posted a reply. As a result some of these comments and our reply was removed. Nevertheless God saw us through and continued to bless us with a business still doing well through the recession and we are thankful for all the very special people who stayed, enjoyed their stay and left positive comments.

We look forward to 2010 and will continue to make imrpvements as we are able. The kitchen is being refurbished at the moment whilst we are on holiday in Tenerife.
